En aquesta xerrada Ander Romero, administrador del servidor de Delta Chat del Fedicat, ens parlarà de Delta Chat, una aplicació de missatgeria instantània que funciona sobre el correu electrònic. Començarem introduint què és el Delta Chat i quines funcions té. Seguidament, presentarem el servidor que estem allotjant conjuntament Fedicat i l'eXO i explicarem les dificultats tècniques i socials de gestionar un servei com aquest de forma comunitària. Color management is not a program that keeps a list of your favorite colors, but a science and technology that makes it possible for you to see the same colors in movies, magazines, graphics, the web... Deep in the Linux dependency tree is LittleCMS, an open-source component that allows applications like Krita, The Gimp, Inkscape, DisplayCAL, and many others to take care of this sort of thing. Being MIT-licensed, you can also find LittleCMS elsewhere, from Hewlett-Packard large format printers to commercial software like Affinity. You have it on Android and Facebook, for example. CityBikes is the most comprehensive open access API for bike sharing information, with support for more than 700 cities all around the world. Less than 25% of CityBikes data comes from open data standard feeds—for every city in CityBikes publishing their bike sharing information in a reusable format, there are at least three more that do not use a standard format. CityBikes aims to change that by providing developers, researchers and organizations with a standard resource to bridge this gap and contribute towards an interoperable open data ecosystem for mobility services. At this point you probably know what a Kubernete is, but why and how do Kubernetes network? In this talk I will try to cover why Kubernetes needs a networking layer, what are Pod and Service IPs, how and where load balancing happens, how kube-dns works its magic, and how Kubernetes nodes communicate, among other things.
